Ghana Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Trade Mission

As the current holder of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, France, already a major player in the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. and leader in talks on the energy transition, France remains an instrumental destination in terms of hosting the world’s largest oil and gas multinationals. On the continent, growth in Ghana’s oil and gas industry in the ensuing decade has been more rapid than most nascent oil and gas industries and is expected to maintain a steady growth rate in coming years. While the Oil and Gas sector is still in a developing state, there are several opportunities for investment as the sector continues to expand.
To this end, Ghana Invest would like to extend an invitation to Ghanaian oil and gas service providers to participate in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Trade Mission on November 30th, 2022 in Paris, France. The mission will serve as an opportunity for companies to enhance their brand visibility to international markets, provide the opportunity to conduct market research, generate leads and learn other innovative methods from other participating counterparts in France, and take advantage of viable investment opportunities in the petroleum, energy and renewable energy sectors. The 1st edition of the Ghana Oil and Power Conference will seek to elaborate on local content and local participation requirements for foreign companies and opportunities for B2B partnerships, as well as identify areas of collaboration and synergies for French and Ghanaian companies in knowledge sharing, capacity building, technology transfer and best practices.
Registration Guidelines:
- Air travel bookings and reservations: Delegates must book their own air tickets; Ghana Invest can assist delegates with booking.
- Hotel reservations: Delegates must reserve their own hotels; nevertheless for the sake of on-ground transportation and logistics, Ghana Invest will recommend hotels within the same vicinity. Delegates can benefit from Ghana Invest discounted offers with hotels.
- Ghana Invest will be able to accommodate a maximum of fifteen (15) companies during the three day mission.
- Company Representation: Companies may nominate a maximum of two (2) delegates per organization. The nomination of a third (3) delegate is permitted, with the registration fee for the third (3) delegate being €300.
- To register, delegates must fill out the online registration form on https://ghana-invest.org/events-conferences/ and send the supporting documents (passport biometric page, passport photos, company profile, copy of vaccination card and healthcare insurance) via email to trade@ghana-invest.org.
